Project Linus National Institute is a four day conference filled with education, inspiration and fun. In years past, Institute has been open only to Project Linus Coordinators and their invited guests, but beginning in 2011, this fabulous event will be open to anyone interested in attending and sharing in the Project Linus experience. Some events will be open only to Chapter Coordinators. Alternate events will be scheduled for all other attendees during those times.

What Exactly is Institute?

You can expect informative classes, a vendor EXPO, fun service projects, and more. You will learn new quilting techniques from noted experts, share ideas with other attendees, and make blankets and quilts for children in need. You can even visit area shops and other points of interest.

Tell Me More About Vendor EXPO!

Vendor EXPO is a highlight of Institute and keeps attendees coming back year after year. It is a day full of booths on a variety of interests, including blanket making techniques, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. See a demo, make a sample, learn something new! Scattered throughout are other fun projects and more. Shop the booths of local and national vendors or take one of several classes that will be offered. Lunch is included—and you will need it to keep you going through this jam-packed day of fun and education.

When and Where is Institute?

Institute is scheduled for July 20-23, 2011 at the historic Hotel Père Marquette in Peoria, Illinois. This magnificent hotel is located right in the heart of downtown where you will be minutes away from many local attractions. You may even want to plan on lengthening your stay so that you can not only enjoy our Institute, but all that central Illinois has to offer.
