Chairman of the Board/Executive Director
Carol first heard about Project Linus in October of 1998 in a newspaper article about the local chapter in her home state of Utah. She had long been looking for a way to use her talents to help others and Project Linus was a perfect fit. It wasn't long before she was asked to coordinate the Northern Utah chapter, enjoying great success. In January of 2000, Carol moved with her family to Minneapolis where she also coordinated the Twin Cities area. On October 30, 2000, Carol accepted the position of President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Project Linus. She has served in various leadership positions in her church auxiliaries. She attended Utah State University and the University of Utah. Her professional background as an office manager and comptroller, plus her experience as a chapter coordinator gives her a unique perspective on the management of Project Linus. She lives in Bloomington, Illinois with her husband Kirk and their two sons Tommy and Jake.
