2018 Contest Rules
This is your chance to creatively combine the clues from the Project Linus Mystery Quilt Challenge and let your imagination run wild! Be sure to read through ALL of the rules before you get started. There is no fee to enter the contest other than the contestant MUST BE A REGISTERED 2017 Project Linus Mystery Quilt Challenge Participant. Please note that this is not a judged quilt contest, but rather a fund-raiser for Project Linus. Contestants that have won in the past have encouraged their friends, family, and associates to “vote” for their quilt as described below. We are so grateful for the generosity of our “voters” and the hard work securing votes by our contestants and their friends. Good Luck to everyone!
The Challenge Contest opens at 9:00a CT on Monday, January 15, 2018!
As a Mystery Quilt Challenge Participant, you are invited to enter your finished “Exploring the World with Ethan” quilt in our Project Linus Mystery Quilt Challenge contest. You are welcome to assemble the quilt exactly “as is” in the “Big Reveal” OR if you would like to create a new quilt design you are welcome to do that as well. You may only enter one quilt in the challenge contest. NOTE: If you’re creating your own design, you must use at least one of each of the blocks as designed and revealed in the weekly clues in your challenge quilt entry in order to qualify for entry. The blocks can be any size.
Finished quilts may be entered in the contest any time between 9:00a CT on Monday, January 15, 2018 and 11:59p CT on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 by sending a high resolution, good quality photo of the entire quilt to Project Linus with the entry form submission. Click “Enter Contest” in the menu above for our on-line entry form during the submission window. Important Note: The first 20 quilts entered that meet all contest rules will be eligible to be in the contest. In addition, Project Linus will select 10 more quilts that meet all contest rules submitted during the contest entry period to also be in the contest.

The first 20 quilts entered in the challenge plus an additional 10 chosen by Project Linus that meet the contest qualifications will be featured on our website, by number, and Project Linus friends are invited to “vote” for their favorite quilt.
