Nancy’s Notions/Creative Kindness book
Thousands of people were touched by the Sewing with Nancy® series of programs called Sew A Smile. In these shows, Nancy introduced individuals and groups who used their sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting skills to help others. It wasn’t long before Nancy and her staff started receiving letters and messages from people who wanted to help, or who were already helping in other ways.
Those letters and messages have been compiled into a book called Creative Kindness, published by Reiman Publications. In its pages you’ll find stories and projects from people who are putting their hand skills to work to help others cope with illness, tragedy and loss, and you’ll learn what you can do to help as well. (And yes! Project Linus is listed in the resource area.)
