Project Linus Conference 2012

What exactly is Project Linus Conference?

Project Linus Conference is 4 days of education, inspiration, fun and sharing all things Project Linus. For 14 years, we have been gathering together annually to learn more about Project Linus, how to manage chapters, basic and new blanket making techniques, and more. Take part in classes, booths, lectures, and networking with chapters and volunteers from across the country.

Who can come to Project Linus Conference?

Project Linus Conference is open to anyone interested in learning more, and sharing in the Project Linus experience. Attendees must be 16 or older. (Or have previous approval from PLHQ. We cannot accommodate small children.)

How much does it cost?

This year, we have reduced the price in an effort to bring as many people together as possible. Only $325.00 per person includes all events for all 4 days, 3 lunches and 2 beautiful dinners. Or, you may choose to attend certain days for a reduced fee for each day. Both our online registration system and mail-in registration form have been updated with these options.

Classes are additional. A mail-in class registration is available now (see below). Online class registration will be available soon.

What about hotel accommodations?

Conference is being held at the Radisson Valley Forge. You can make your reservations now by calling 610-337-2000, or visiting them online. They have given us a special rate of $115.00 single or double occupancy and are available while they last. To obtain this special rate, use promotional code LINUS. Reservations must be made by May 26, 2012.

What is the Blanket Challenge and how can I participate?

Simply order a challenge kit on your conference registration form. (kits will be available in December). Make a blanket using the challenge fabrics provided and ship your blanket to Project Linus National Headquarters by May 31, 2012. Blankets will be displayed at conference. It's all for fun, and everyone enjoys seeing all the different and creative patterns and styles. Blankets can also be knitted, crocheted or fleece, but must keep with the Patriotic Theme.
